The resource that best fits your needs is Gale Cengage Opposing Viewpoints.  The database contains academic journals as well as statistics, newspaper and magazine articles.  Of course it has viewpoints from either side of the issue.  Keep in mind also that the library owns print copies of Opposing Viewpoints as well.
